Jenny earned a Specialist Degree in School Psychology from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. She is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) and a licensed (#SS1448) and certified (#942326) School Psychologist in the State of Florida. She also completed the Post-Graduate Certificate Program in School Neuropsychology through the School Neuropsychology Institute and achieved Diplomate status from the American Board of School Neuropsychology.
In addition to her private practice, Jenny has extensive experience in the public school system. She served as a full-time school psychologist with the School District of Clay County from 2004 to 2025 and currently works with Duval County Public Schools. Throughout her career, she has supported students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, providing comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and consultation services. As a bilingual school psychologist proficient in English and Spanish, Jenny has worked extensively with English Language Learners from diverse Spanish-speaking backgrounds.
Jenny has also served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Phoenix, where she taught undergraduate psychology courses. Prior to her career in school psychology, she worked as a Human Services Counselor with the Florida Department of Health’s Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Program, assisting children from birth through 18 years of age who sustained traumatic brain or spinal cord injuries. In that role, she collaborated with families and schools in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties to ensure appropriate educational supports and community services were in place for successful reintegration.
Jenny is an active member of the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) and the Florida Association of School Psychologists (FASP).
